The all-new K2 Wayback 106 is the flagship powder tool for backcountry enthusiasts and mountain guides around the world. Featuring K2’s Titanal Touring Tech, All-Terrain Rocker, and Bio Resin. K2 redefines the standard for lightweight and high-performance touring skis.

A mid-fat waist and a shape that excels in soft snow makes the Wayback 106 your clear choice for when it’s deep and weight is a concern, because who wants to trek uphill if the descent is going to be subpar?

The Ti Spyne (Titanal Laminate) and snophobic topsheet come together to create unmatched downhill performance while still keeping things light enough for long days on the skin track. Strapped with Carbon Overdrive and uni-directional carbon fiber integrated into the layups keeps things lightweight and responsive. Click into the Wayback 106 and you’ll be wondering why you’ve spent so much time waiting in lift lines.

CAMBER

Rocker Camber Small Rise - Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

CORE

A lightweight core specifically for touring skis. The core of lightweight Paulownia wood is reinforced with Titanal and Carbon. The Ti Spyne improves damping, stability and binding retention. The Carbon Overdrive strengthens the ski, but keeps it light and responsive.
